Privacy Policy

Account information. When you create an account we collect your username and email address. Your password is never stored in plain text.

Project data. Information you enter to plan your celebration, including guest names and contact details (email, phone), guest tags and household groupings, event schedules, RSVP responses and per-event details (such as travel information), seating charts, invite templates and send history, website content and settings, registry links, collaborator memberships, and photos or other files you upload to your project.

Guest and visitor information. Guests and other visitors may provide information without creating a Pyaar & Prema account, including contact details submitted through a contact-collection link, RSVP and travel details on a public website, and approximate live viewer counts when watching a livestream. Wedding hosts choose what guest fields to collect and are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect that information from their guests.

Communications. If you email us through contact or feedback links, we receive your message and any email address you include. If you submit your email on our marketing pages, we store it to send product updates. When hosts send invites, reminders, or other messages through Pyaar & Prema, we process recipient email addresses and phone numbers and may record delivery status when available.

Payment information. Subscription payments are handled by a third-party payment provider. We do not store your full card number. We may keep payment and subscription references, and limited checkout context such as IP address, country, browser, operating system, device type, and referring page.

Usage and analytics data. We collect information about how Pyaar & Prema is used to operate, improve, and troubleshoot the service. This may include pages viewed, product activity (such as sign-up, sign-in, onboarding, and completed payments), performance and reliability metrics, application errors, and standard technical information such as IP address, browser, operating system, device type, country when available, referrer, and timestamps. For signed-in users, this activity may be associated with your account.

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve Pyaar & Prema; authenticate accounts; host websites, guest lists, seating, invites, and livestreams; send transactional emails (verification, welcome messages, collaborator invites, guest invites, and daily RSVP digest emails when a project member opts in); respond to contact and feedback requests; process subscriptions; measure product performance and reliability; and detect and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your guest list or wedding data for advertising, and we do not use third-party advertising cookies.

We share data only with trusted service providers that help us run Pyaar & Prema — for example, hosting, payments, email delivery, and analytics. These providers process data on our instructions and under appropriate contractual safeguards.

Websites, RSVP pages, contact-collection links, and livestreams you publish are visible to the audiences you choose to share them with. Collaborators you invite can access the project data you grant them.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of Pyaar & Prema and its users.

We retain your account and project data for as long as your account is active. Guest and project data remain until a host deletes it or closes the project. Livestream recordings and uploaded media are retained until removed by the project owner. Marketing email sign-ups are retained until you ask us to remove them. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it longer.

We use TLS encryption in transit and encrypt sensitive data at rest where appropriate. Access to production data is restricted to authorised personnel. No method of transmission over the internet is 100 % secure, but we follow industry best practices.

You may access and correct most of your celebration data directly in the app. You may export guest data from the guest list tools. To request account deletion or help with data you cannot change yourself, contact us using the email in the Contact section below.

If you are in the EU or UK, you have additional rights under GDPR/UK GDPR including the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Guests whose information was submitted by a wedding host should contact that host first; we will assist hosts with lawful requests about guest data they control.

Pyaar & Prema uses cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, remember app preferences such as your active project, and support product analytics. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Pyaar & Prema accounts are intended for adults planning a wedding (18+). We do not knowingly collect account information from children. Guest lists and RSVPs may include information about minors when entered by a wedding host or submitted by a guest with the host's authorisation. If you believe a child has provided us personal information without appropriate consent, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will notify you by email or by a notice in the app. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
